Chia Seed and Maple Yogurt

I love taking something simple and turning it into something amazing. That’s what I’ve done with this recipe: I’ve taken plain Greek yogurt and turned it into a meal that is so incredibly delicious (and healthy).

Chia seed maple yogurtFirst of all, if you’re not eating chia seeds, you need to be. They’re a teeny tiny superfood: chia seeds are an amazing source of healthy omega-3 fats and fiber. They virtually have no taste, but do add a little crunch which adds more dimension to the yogurt.

The maple syrup adds a sweet maple flavor to the plain yogurt–and I don’t know about you, but I’m a sucker for a sweet maple flavor.

Once you mix it all up, you have a delicious, healthy, superfood-y (is that a word?) breakfast or snack! Quick, easy, yummy.

Greek yogurt mixed with Chia seeds and maple syrup.

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Dig in!
