DIY “Will you be my bridesmaid?” box

I haven't shared much about my engagement/wedding on the blog yet, so what better to start then with a DIY project? I'm so incredibly happy to be marrying the love of my life, and I was also incredibly happy to ask my bridal party to join me on my special day. I scoured Pinterest for ways to ask my bridesmaids to be bridesmaids, but I really couldn't find anything that fit my style. There were a lot of cute and clever options, but I wanted something that was sentimental and could be kept forever. I wanted a beautiful keepsake that had a lot of thought put into it, and that would blow my bridal party away. I knew that I wanted to make a personalized box for each girl, but I didn't know much more than that when I started my venture. I decided to go to Michaels for inspiration, and ended up finding these incredible wooden book boxes. They also have them available on Amazon, here.
