We've come to one of my favorite times of the month--the Monthly Ingredient Challenge! Every month, a group of extremely talented bloggers and I all develop a recipe using one common ingredient. I was so excited when the ingredient for this month was announced--peanut butter--because it's one of my true food weaknesses. I love everything about peanut butter: Growing up, I used to eat an apple with peanut butter every single night before I went to bed. Every single night. But when it came to this challenge, I wanted to do something different and unique. I kept thinking of mediocre ideas and things that have been done tons of times before. That's when I consulted my trusty friend (and unofficial recipe developer), Tracy. Her first suggestion was PB&J bacon sliders. I was sold.
